2. Quotes and bookings
Quotes generated through this site are estimates based on the details you provide and are subject to change once we confirm exact cargo dimensions, weight, routing, customs classification and applicable surcharges. A booking is only confirmed once you receive written confirmation from an Equita representative.
3. Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate cargo descriptions, weights, dimensions and any hazardous material declarations.
- Ensure goods are properly packaged, labelled and, where required, insured.
- Supply correct customs, export and import documentation for your shipment.
- Pay all agreed charges, duties and taxes associated with your shipment.
4. Liability
Equita's liability for loss, damage or delay is limited in accordance with the applicable international conventions and carrier terms governing air, ocean and road transport (including relevant Incoterms), unless a higher liability is separately agreed in writing.
5. Prohibited and restricted goods
Certain goods may not be shipped, or may require special declarations, permits or packaging. Equita reserves the right to refuse, hold or return any shipment that does not comply with applicable law or our internal safety standards.
6. Tracking information
Tracking statuses shown on this site and via our tools are provided for convenience and reflect the latest data available from carriers and partners. Equita is not responsible for delays in status updates caused by third-party systems.
